Whether the Pocket PC has built-in GPS or needs an external Bluetooth GPS receiver. Simply select 'GPS setup' and CoPilot Truck will do the rest.

The primary job of a GPS navigation system is to provide turn-by-turn directions right to the dock, CoPilot Truck 7 makes it easy with step by step address entry. Destination entry options are:

	Address. Enter an exact street address with city, state or zip code.
	Points of interest. CoPilot Truck 7 is packed full of useful locations such as truck stops, rest areas, weigh stations and many more.
	Home. Program the address into CoPilot Truck, making it easy to get back home with a touch of a button.
	Work. Program the work address to get back to base easily.
	Favorite. Create and save the most frequently visited locations.
	Recent. CoPilot keeps track of 50 places previously entered.
	Contact. Select an address from a contact database just by selecting a name.
	Pick on the map. Not sure of the exact address? Simply pin point anywhere on the map. CoPilot Truck will guide the driver to that location.
	Intersection. Find the way to a crossroads.
	Coordinates. Enter latitude-longitude coordinates for the ultimate in precision destination entry.
Once you have entered in your destination(s), CoPilot Truck 7's new route preview feature displays a simulation of the entire trip in advance.

CoPilot Truck provides spoken dock-to-dock directions right to the door and offers multiple map view options including a 'Driver Safety' display.

At the touch of a button you can change the display to:

	3D. A bird's eye view perspective of the road ahead, complete with on-road turn arrow and 3D Points of Interest icons.
	Where Am I? - Where am I? - a 2D view of the road showing the driver’s location at the zoomed in level
	Next turn - a 2D map showing the driver’s location and next turn with the map progressively zooming closer to the turn
	Destination - a 2D map showing the entire route to your destination
	Itinerary - View the turn by turn directions to the final destination
	Safety - displays at-a-glance text instructions and a large arrow of the next turn

Switch between day and Low-glare night map views manually or set CoPilot Truck to change the screen automatically based on the time of the trip.

CoPilot Truck is designed to help keep eyes on the road, not on-screen. Our 'Driver Safety' mode only shows a map close to a turn. The map appears within a mile of a turn, progressively zooming-in before returning to the "Driver Safety" screen.

The Driver Safety settings in CoPilot Truck 7 can be modified. Select whether a 2D or 3D map is shown or how close to a turn the map should be displayed. Driver Safety can always be displayed to rely on CoPilot Truck's dependable spoken directions at each turn.

CoPilot Truck includes millions of Points of Interest with phone numbers where available.

Finding the nearest fuel location, rest area or weigh station is made easy using the 'Find nearby POI' button from the main menu, or by enabling POI notification.

POIs are displayed in CoPilot Truck both in 2D or 3D map views. If the Pocket PC has a cell phone plan, select the POI and call it directly from within CoPilot.

CoPilot Truck is a 'connected' GPS navigation system that provides the driver and dispatch office - real-time location-specific information about the trip.

CoPilot Truck Traffic - The optional traffic service can detect and warn about congestion along the route. Avoid all or individual incidents ensuring on time arrival to the next pick up or drop off. CoPilot Truck displays additional time and miles added to the trip if the detour is taken. For traffic incidents in other locations — just enter the city and state or zip code.

Real-Time Location Tracking - Real-time location tracking- CoPilot Truck can use the mobile internet to help the back office keep in touch with the driver while on the move. The driver can send tracking invitations from the Pocket PC to the dispatcher and his customers to view the driver(s) location live on a web based map. Dispatchers are even able to send messages or new destinations to the driver!
